Why you still feel stuck
You downloaded the apps, saved the videos, bought the course, and promised yourself, “This time I’ll stay consistent.” Maybe you joined a live class, only to get buried in verb charts before you felt comfortable saying a full sentence.
Arabic is not “too hard,” and you do not lack discipline. You have been trying to solve a live-speaking problem with isolated lessons, recordings, and a grammar-first path. Grammar matters, but it should help you communicate, not delay it.
Sound familiar?
You don’t need more information about Arabic. You need an environment that makes speaking Arabic inevitable.
The Hiwar Method
Hiwar means “dialogue.” Children learn Arabic by hearing it, using it with real people, making mistakes, and hearing it again. We teach adults the same way, then use grammar to explain and strengthen what you are already learning to say.
You build real sentences from your first class with a teacher who hears you and corrects you live.
Rules arrive when they help you express yourself, so they accelerate your speaking instead of delaying it.
Fusha is the Arabic of the Quran and of education, media, and formal speech. You learn one language that serves both.

Meet the founder
I have studied Arabic for more than 15 years with both non-Arab and native Arab scholars, including at seminaries where every class was taught entirely in Arabic.
Arabic changed my life. It brought me closer to the Quran and opened doors to friendships, travel, business, and the Arab world. I also speak and teach Arabic with my children because I believe it is a language to live and pass on.
I created Hiwar because too many adults are left to learn through apps, recordings, and grammar-heavy classes without enough opportunity to actually speak. Hiwar offers a different path: live teachers, meaningful speaking practice, small groups, and the support to keep progressing when life gets busy.

Student stories
What it is like to learn Arabic live, in a small group, with a native teacher.
“Hiwar not only provides you a safe space to learn but they also try their level best to help you out when you’re struggling. The teachers are incredibly supportive and they make learning Arabic so easy and enjoyable. You start speaking confidently from the very first classes.”
“The lessons are explained so clearly, and the repetition of previous lessons in class makes it much easier to understand, remember, and build confidence in what we’ve learned.”
“I really appreciate the realistic pace of learning, the small class size, and learning directly from a native-speaking teacher. One of my favorite moments was realizing I could recognize and understand some of the Arabic words we were learning when I came across them in the Quran.”
